NATIONAL SOCIETY OF COLLEGIATE SCHOLARS

PRESIDENT

My freshmen year of college I was voted President of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. This was huge for me, because I had never served as “President” of anything, and I was not very involved in high school, because I was modeling and always traveling. However, when I was given this title along with a list of responsibilities I had never done before, I proudly accepted this challenge. I learned a lot along the way, about my university, myself, and, the organization.

We hosted multiple service projects, social events for members to engage and learn more about the organization, and also fundraisers as well. I met a new group of students I had never knew, and we all clicked together like a family. After the new ideas and different events we incorporated into our chapter, I was voted to serve a second term as President. This opportunity was truly an honor, and I cherish these moments everyday, because they have truly helped to shape me into the young professional I am today!
